A name or case number entered into a search tool on these pages is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. That provider processes the query and supplies any response. We do not keep a separate database or log of those search terms.

No Court-Record Data on File
This resource does not host, keep, compile, or sell a database of Meigs County court dockets or personal case-record information. It publishes general directions about records held by the Meigs County Clerk of Courts and local court divisions. Court-record access in Ohio follows the current Rules of Superintendence 11.09 through 11.17, while R.C. 149.43, the Ohio Public Records Act, provides a public-record framework subject to legal exceptions and court-record rules. CourtView or CaseLook can help locate a case, but an official copy comes from the office that maintains it.
We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party records.

Search boxes are furnished by outside providers. Information placed into one is subject to that provider's privacy policy, retention practices, and sharing rules. Those practices are outside our control, so review the provider's policy before submitting a query.

This resource links to court, clerk, and other external sources. When you follow a link, the privacy policy of the receiving website applies to that visit. Read it before giving that website personal information.
Advertising partners can track activity across websites in order to serve interest-based advertising. Their systems, not ours, carry out that tracking.
