Need an Official Docket or Record?

Start with the court that owns the case. Ohio has no unified statewide public trial-court docket portal. Common Pleas uses CourtView/eServices, while Meigs County Court maintains the separate CaseLook route. The online system can help locate a record, but the responsible clerk or court counter is the confirmation path.

  • Common Pleas felony, general civil, Domestic Relations, appellate records, or certified copies: use CourtView for a case search, then contact the Meigs County Clerk of Courts, Legal Division.
  • County Court misdemeanor, traffic, civil, or Small Claims records: use CaseLook and contact the County Court clerk in Room 304.
  • Probate records: contact the Probate division about the case and its permitted access route.
  • Juvenile matters: contact the Juvenile division about authorized access because many juvenile records are confidential or restricted.
  • A Common Pleas criminal, drug-court, or transcript question: identify the case first, then use the published functional line at 740-992-4639 ext. 2.
